With so much hand-wringing, it's good to know there's at least one thing we can do with our anxious hands to keep them busy: we can put a pale ale in one hand and another pale ale in the other, because: pale ale. It might not clarify what is uncertain, but for the time being, it's a perfectly serviceable answer. It's the solution, the rationale, the reason, the excuse, the justification, the cause, the case, the defense, the explanation, the grounds, the basis, the argument, the pretext, the motive, the wherefore, the apologia, the response, the rejoinder, the retort, the riposte, the clapback, the key, the remedy, the fix, the why, the thesis, the logic, the evidence, the gist, the core, the essence, the kernel, the crux, the meaning, the significance and the obvious. This is a classic version of a classic American style: dry and clear with a citrusy (Mosaic) and coniferous (Talus) nose, and just enough malt backbone to balance the firm bitterness of the hops. Have one. Have two, because pale ale.
