The twenty second rendition of Motor Oil is a Nordic Pastry Stout brewed in collaboration with Alvarado Street's stellar artisan neighbors at Ad Astra Bread Co on Alvarado Street. Built from a blend of fresh and barrel aged imperial stout, it draws inspiration from their highly celebrated cardamom buns, reimagined here in Scandinavian form, known for warm spice and citrus-bright aroma fresh from the hearth. This stout layers in cardamom, torched Ceylon cinnamon, Tahitian and Mexican vanilla beans, and a touch of bergamot over a complex and dense body. Deep, aromatic, and luxuriously smooth.
