Alvarado Street's 2022 Great American Beer Fest silver medal and 2018 World Beer Cup gold medal winner is a classic American-style Red Ale with hops from the Pacific Northwest piled on top of a rich, malty foundation. Simcoe, Chinook, Citra & Columbus let it rip with pine, grapefruit, bitter orange and splash of pineapple. Those flavors blend seamlessly with the notes of caramel and freshly baked bread from several different malts, which also contribute to a deep mahogany, crimson-like appearance. An assertive bitterness tames the malt sweetness for a balanced brew, warming up the soul.
