66% Zinfandel 34% Chardonnay

This wine takes advantage of the two devastating spring frosts in the Sierra foothills
in 2022 which resulted in historically low yields and ultra concentrated fruit. The
Zinfandel was fermented semi-carbonically as a way to preserve the gorgeous
energy and red-ness of the fruit. And while red/white varietal coferments are more
playful than our usual style, we knew that adding a little Chardonnay would amplify
the red fruit even more, adding dimension and roundness to the palate. Another
Time drinks like a wild-eyed Beaujolais, with the unmistakable slatey-ness of the
granitic Sierra Foothills. Best served slightly chilled.
