Bloos Orchard is a mixed culture Cherry Bruin brewed for those who know that the best things in life are equal sweet and ruinous. This 7.2% Flanders-Inspired Ale pours a deep reddish-brown. Rich with the kind of color that only time and wild fermentation can produce. Dark cherries lead the way-think cherry pie filling giving way to raisins, bittersweet chocolate, and a whisper of balsamic-before oak, vanilla, and leather pull it intosomething deeper and more complex. The finish is tart and wine-like, dry and lingeringas though the orchard gave everything it had and asked for nothing back. Beautiful, a little broken, and exactly right.
