Hazy IPA. Dry-hopped with Citra & African Queen hops: “Yaaaaaassssss queeeeeen!" This important contribution to the slang sphere was brought to us thanks to 1980s ball culture, and it made its way into the mainstream by way of Broad City circa 2016. Urban Dictionary might define it as an expression of “enthusiastic support, excitement, or congratulations,” but we think of it as pure, anthemic, unadulterated affirmation. It’s like “slay,” but without the undertones of violence, or “you go girl!” with a promotion from the diminutive to the supreme. It’s the best of all possible praises. And Juice Queen? Juice Queen is liquid affirmation. Citra hops give us marvelously juicy aromas of passion fruit and citrus, while African Queen come in with those divine notes of lemongrass and a whole lotta yaaassss!
